This iconic mural on the East Side Gallery of the remaining Berlin Wall captures the moment when Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev was embraced by East German President Erich Honnecker and given a full on lip smacker, by way of congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the German Democratic Republic. It's known as "The Kiss" or "Brother Kiss" and was first painted by Russian artist Dimitri Vrubel from a world famous photograph taken by Régis Bossu.
