The walk across the massive frozen lake to get to this spot was one I'll probably never forget. It was 700 metres from one side to the other, walking over crazy frozen cracks to the eerie sound of creaking and deep booming as the gigantic ice plates heaved and squeezed against each other. I was seriously questioning my sanity with every step I took!
It was all okay though, turned out that the ice was actually very thick and we kind of got used to the scary noises as the night wore on. Stayed here in bitterly cold conditions (minus 16) for about 4 hours waiting for the show to kick off, this was as good as it got though, not as lively as forecast but still totally magical.
Another neck wrenching shot between the high risers at 'More London'.
A fabulous autumn display reflected on the lake at Stourhead, Wiltshire. Capturing the pink dawn hues and low lying mist across the still water.
Another neck wrenching 'straight up the middle' shot between the high risers at 'More London'. Passenger planes are passing over here at the rate of about one every three minutes so I didn't have to wait too long to get what I came for.
A fiery sunrise and stunning reflections at the Assut de l'Or Bridge. An almost surreal floating cityscape?
Hight tide at Ersfjord looking across to the snow capped 'Devil's Teeth', Senja, Norway.
The impressive Palau de les Arts. It's difficult to capture the enormous scale and presence of this building, looking like a gigantic space ship sat on its keyhole landing pad, it totally dominates it's surroundings and is very much the head of the family.
Dawn at the Millennium Bridge looking across to St. Paul's Cathedral. Not a soul around...perfect!

Batmans headquarters situated in the 'More London' area. I was politely asked to desist from photographing here by a large security guard....which only confirmed my suspicions. Why else would they ask me to leave?
The last light of sunset filtering across the picturesque village of Hamnoy, Moskenes, Lofoten, Norway.

This is 'Number One London Bridge', a prestigious address apparently, but more to the point a great building to photograph. There's sharp symmetry to play with here and also some reflected reflections going on, which creates a quite confusing picture that's challenging to figure out at first.....well it is for me anyway.
Detached residence, one up, one down, fabulous mountain views.
A view of The Shard from under one of the old brick arches at London Bridge.

The weird and wonderful City Hall Building caught in the early morning sunshine. The building is referred to by various names: The Melted Egg, The Onion, The Woodlouse, and my favourite....The Glass Gonad!

Some interesting reflections looking down through the 'One New Change' shopping centre next to St.Paul's Cathedral.
We came across this location around sunset on the looong drive back to Tromso (9 hours) from Lofoten, it was literally freezing at -20 with some spectacular mist caught in the sunlight as it blew wildly across the fjord. Kanstad, Lofoten Islands, Norway.
